Released in 1981 on his fifth studio album, Breakin’ Away, the song spent 24 weeks on the pop charts and went to number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, Number 13 on the Cash Box Top 100, Number 6 on the Adult Contemporary US charts and Number 1 in the Adult Contemporary Canada charts.
