Bandits On The Run
Brooklyn based Bandits on the Run consists of three members Adrian Enscoe, Sydney Shepherd, and Regina Strayhorn, who go by stage name alias’s of Roy Dodger, Bonanza Jellyfish, and Clarissa. They started their musical journey by busking in the New York City subway system and they have now busked in numerous international locations as well. They submitted their song, “Love In The Underground,” to NPR’s All Songs Considered contest and they received an Honorable Mention nod by NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest for the song “Love in the Underground.” Composed of cello, guitar, suitcase drum, accordion, various toy instruments and a heavy dose of three-part harmony. the trio features catchy 60’s throwback pop harmonies combined with unusual theatrical tricks.
